This remote control car rolls over quite steeply and can overcome obstacles such as curbs, rolls or rollovers. You can turn it to any side and it will light up. My sister bought this for my son who will soon be 3 and although he couldn't turn the remote the way he wanted since he was small he could still move it up and down. This works perfectly for an older child or an adult. Definitely recommend as a birthday present for a child. It comes with a rechargeable battery. You delete one and get a backup that charges via USB, which is great when the battery is dead. I think the battery lasted us about an hour.
