Needs better craftsmanship

I love making my own sisal scrapers using a pole, string and staple gun, but got too lazy and wanted to order a small scraper. The idea for this is great but the quality is meh. When you pay $29 for tubing and mounting hardware, I really expect everything to be done perfectly. I love that you can wall mount it because my cat doesn't use the bottom half of the scratching post so she scratches in less space. It doesn't take up space on the floor and is therefore less of a nuisance. However, sisal rope is lower quality than what you would buy in rolls and the stitching makes the rope slide up and down the entire pole and just looks messy. In the video you can see how easily my thumb can move the rope, so imagine a 12 pound cat scratching it daily. You just have to tighten the rows while tacking and add about 2 feet more sisal and then I'd settle for a cheaper rope.
