Let me be honest I have had horses since I was born and I have NEVER bought a hay net. I love it! I kept telling myself I would buy next week so I just clicked the buy now button. So cool when you go to the rides and tie it to a trailer. Their horses just sit and eat and don't care about the world around them. Facilitates and accelerates their attachment. Especially if you have an energetic 4-year-old who is overly concerned about the world around them. About the net I like it, it's nice and strong, much stronger than expected. Holds almost a full hay bale. The only thing I don't like is that the holes are a bit big. I wish they were smaller so the horses would eat them more slowly. Also, this has been running for several months and would recommend a great price.
