The dress is of very good quality - lined inside, no seams. I bought this for a Victorian Valentine's Ball in Denver and I really liked it. I used to wear the hoops under the dress - maybe I could make the bottom hoops a little smaller and wear a crinoline over the hoops to make it smoother. I bought pink gloves to go with it. What I didn't like about the dress was the loose shoulders. So when I received it, I unbuttoned the back shoulder seam, cut an inch of fabric, pinned the polyester bone to the back and into the shoulder strap, and sewed it back on. You woke up great. It corresponds to the size grid. Because it ties in the back, you have room to adjust it. Better to order a little less than a little more. If it's too small, just tie it looser at the back.
