This camera takes very clear underwater photos and videos in underwater mode (I only tested it in my pool). I agree with what some others say about the interior photography. They aren't the best but I bought this camera to photograph a lake/river/boat so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting wet or falling over. For that it is GREAT. I am very happy with the photos on the road. There is some shutter lag, but the camera also has some very cool features and the panorama mode is very easy to use. I would give five stars if it wasn't for the slower shutter speed. Most of the time this wasn't a problem, but a few times it was a bit frustrating. I love that the camera has an automatic lens cap which some other waterproof cameras don't have. You should note that I am a point and shoot photographer and use my cameras almost exclusively for vacations and get togethers with family and friends.
