I really wanted to like this cat house. However, I had some reservations and had to apply a fix to keep it stable. Good1. Very easy to assemble 2. Well made laminated panels made of MDF3. Multiple boards for scratching4. One of my cats liked it immediately; It's now his second favorite place to hang out. Not so good1. Seems solid at first, but slight pressure on any connection point causes the structure to fall apart. One of the cats was immediately happy about the new delivery. He loves to scratch boards so having multiple boards was a big plus. It was easy to put together and looked very nice. But in the process of simple movement, the structure began to fall apart. A cat can't be on the roof of a house and not fall apart. I solved this problem by using a hot glue gun to glue all the connectors together. Now the design is strong and reliable. If I didn't have a glue gun I would just save the scratches and throw away everything else. So I have mixed feelings about this house. I would only recommend it if additional tape, glue or other fasteners are used to secure the panels together.
