From my wife Sarah: I use it every time I cook raw meat, chicken etc. I hate touching raw animal food and they protect me. They are a clear plastic material not suitable for your hands. They are not sticky like normal gloves but are loose fitting. But for my purposes they are good. They are quite thin but will not tear when working with food. The only time they didn't work for me was when I was working with ground beef. When I need to collect minced meat and form chops, he removes them. They don't stick up on the wrist and the filling sticks to the gloves. As you form patties, they will come loose. So I really couldn't use them to make cakes.
