My wife needed a way to plug in the various devices she uses to make herself even more beautiful - hair dryer, curling iron, straighteners, standing fan - but only I had an outlet , who wasn't around where she had to use all those contraptions in her dressing room. I bought her an Accell Powersquid and a standard extension thinking that due to the unusual look of the Powersquid she might end up wanting to keep the standard extension. No, she wanted Powersquid. She said she really liked how it could handle all the different sized oversized ports. She also felt it actually cleaned up because she didn't need an oversized (or multiple) standard power strip to plug in all the power supplies. Sure, she doesn't turn on all her tools at once so she can stay in the 1800W range, but it gives her the flexibility and convenience she wants to manage by powering all her beauty tools from a single outlet .
