These gloves worked great. for the first day or two of use. After processing standard boxes (internal, air-conditioned), they quickly deteriorated to the point of being unusable. The boxes I shipped were sealed bags with no sharp edges and free from abrasives such as heat, chemicals, liquids, sand or even excessive dust. I just palletized the boxes and I no longer use tools, touch the wooden pallets or even pack them as part of my job. I just stack the boxes neatly from the big stack into the smaller stacks and move on. First, the grip cover began to quickly come off. Then the gloves started smelling really bad after normal sweat. In addition, the gloves began to puncture in some places. I thought it was a bad pair and having bought 8 pairs to last until spring I started using the next pair with the same result. I went through all 8 pairs in about two weeks. I usually keep gloves for at least a couple of weeks if they're cheap disposables, and a month or more for better ones. For this price, these gloves definitely fall short of my expectations. They're a far cry from the durable, high-quality products I've come to expect from Carhartt. I have worn Carhartt products for over 15 years and have never had such a bad experience.
