I've had the Targus backpack for about six weeks now and am very happy with the results. I bought it mainly to carry my HP Elitebook with me on a daily basis along with various office supplies - folders, presentations, pens, etc. My laptop is compact and durable (I previously bought a Briggs and Riley bag which I use in tandem). with my Targus bag). The compartments are just enough for a moderate load of daily work - three folders, a notepad, a power adapter, a mouse, an MP3 player, an external hard drive and a network cable all fit comfortably. The black ballistic material has proven itself and cuts a fine figure in the office. I have traveled through airports 3 times including Hartsfield International and have used the zip thru feature. It allows you to open the backpack with a "butterfly" so the laptop can be viewed without removing it from the luggage. This is a handy feature that allows you to pack up quickly while you put your belt and shoes back on. No more archiving/unpacking, loading/unloading the computer. When I'm not at the airport, the butterfly pocket - the small space between my laptop and the main compartment - can be used for light items like a newspaper or folder if you only need very little. more room. There's a nice collection of small external pockets to stash coins, pens, tickets and water bottles in so you don't have to dig around in the main compartment. I used to use the Land's End soft bottom briefcase, but I find this much more comfortable and convenient for everyday use. I highly recommend this product. Update: April 26, 2012 - This product is still gaining momentum. It was out of the country and in several states. Good value for money and solid purchase.
