Great boots at a great price!

I live in Washington DC so we don't often wear winter boots. When I realized that the 2016 blizzard (as they call it) was really going to hit us, I knew I had to find snowshoes for my 6-year-old quickly. Since I only needed them in a day or two, my options were limited. Knowing that she will outgrow it in a year and she might only have to wear it half a dozen times this year, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. In addition, she has a wide foot, which is sometimes difficult to accommodate. Luckily I came across this pair of boots - they are ready to ship, they were wide, not too expensive and pink! I figured if they didn't work I was only worth $30. It's way better than I expected. My daughter loves them and has insisted on wearing them almost all day for the last week. She even wore them to kindergarten all day yesterday. She played in the snow for hours over the weekend and her feet were dry and, she says, warm. She can easily splash in puddles of melting snow. They have a really good tread and help keep even my unbalanced daughter upright on snow and slippery spots. You have three different options to keep them snug (and keep snow out!) - Velcro at the front of the shoe, Velcro at the top of the boot, to attach it to the leg and a small button. behind so the top of the boot fits snugly. The closure system worked very well for us - as I said, her feet stayed dry as she played in the snow for hours. It is easy to take off and put on. And pink is a very pretty color. They seem quite roomy which is good as she has a wide foot. I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • Mid-calf snow boots with waterproof upper, Velcro ankle straps and elasticated drawstring at top line
Cons
  • Small items
