Helped me out of a bind when a part I ordered for the bike came with bolts that were too short and I managed to screw a cross into the frame and it was too soft damaging the threaded hole. I thought I made a real mess, but the kit cleaned the threads easily and didn't clean anything. Note that no instructions are included. So search the internet for the correct use of one of these kits. If I recall, first you want to clean everything as best you can (with compressed air or similar), lubricate the functional ends of the tools with 10W40, hand tighten everything (no wrenches or sockets), only turn the tools until you feel a little friction, then pull back to remove whatever you removed and repeat the process. Go slow and they do a great job. Oh, and the "suitcase" sucks, but for the price, I'm not complaining.
