Review on 🏍️ VSYSTO Motorcycle Dash Cam: Waterproof, 160° Fish Eye, Dual Full HD 1080P Cameras, Night Vision Recorder with 2'' Screen by Eric Sharp

So far so good with the cameras on the dash

I installed this a few weeks ago including the optional GPS module and despite the clunky setup interface and needing to change the body and tank for the Route to remove the wire, it works fine now. Perhaps what annoyed me the most is that all the information on this product listing page says the main unit is waterproof. But the comments and instructions for the device say that's not the case. It looks like it might be waterproof, but I didn't want to risk it and instead installed it in a rear housing that securely attaches to my KLR's luggage rack. I have a P6F - a square head unit - and despite the comments here referring to a different model, there is NO waterproof case for this model (so I think this unit is probably waterproof itself). The nice thing is that all the wires are pre-made connectors and these extensions are included. But even with those options, I had to tie and hide a lot of extra cables. I wish there was a way to adjust the length of the cable and then add connectors so there isn't that much extra cable. The picture quality on mine is sharp and I was most surprised by the intelligent voltage detection which seems to know the difference between non-working voltage/current when the bike is charged and when the motor is actually running. When I start the bike the camera starts recording as expected and turns off when I turn the engine off. I ended up hooking it up to the taillight power supply (only when the key was on) because I didn't want to risk draining the battery when the bike was off. Yes, the voice is annoying. I turned it off Yes, the settings interface is clunky, but you only use it a few times. Don't forget to order a Micro USB card for it.
