That's a good price, is this your first time? Please read

I bought these for the standard white Xbox One wireless controller. Quality wise they seem to be put together well and the one I installed worked fine for me. It might be a bit weaker than the OEM joystick that came with the controller, but I don't mind. The new joystick has no dead zones and the drifting I had before installing it is now gone. From my research, finding OEM joysticks is very difficult. If you can find them, they're probably a lot more expensive. I think all those generic joysticks are probably made in some factory somewhere, there could be defective parts in any product you end up buying, be it this product or another. They all seem very similar. I am very happy with this price. If you wish to use this or any other similar product you will need the following items listed below. 1. The main thing is to understand what you are getting into. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS IF IT IS NECESSARY TO GET THE CONTROLLER WORKING AGAIN OR AS BRAND NEW. If necessary, save money and buy a new controller. This doesn't mean that your result won't be good or brand new when you do this project. You can have a controller that works better than ever, but with a project like this, there's no guarantee that trying to fix it will turn it into a useless piece of junk. This process took about an hour, but I have experience with electronics repairing and soldering. There are some videos on YouTube on how to install one of these joysticks. I highly recommend watching 2-3 videos to see how people made it.2. You need a good soldering iron. Please research which type you should receive. Weller makes good irons.3. You need solder, it's important to make sure you buy electronic solder and not some other kind for welding, sweating, etc.4. You will need a desoldering tape if you want to replace the joystick as the old joystick won't work without it. I personally use a 2.5mm wick, that's just my preference. I recommend ordering from Home Depot, it's $3 for 5 feet (which is more than enough). Electronic soldering flux makes this process possible. A small amount of flux may be required for desoldering and soldering. The flux will help direct the solder into the correct holes or get it off the board and into the desoldering wick. I definitely needed it with the solder I was using. * 6. It's not necessary, but I like to use a soldering stand, aka a 'helping hand'. This is a simple little stand with two clips to hold the board in place while you work on it. I hope this list will help you in your quest to repair your controller. Much luck!
