I love these mini lanterns. I ordered them for the first time so didn't know what to expect. At first I was a little apprehensive as I was wondering how they would work. No reason to worry. They came in a very small box, rolled up tight, and came with extra batteries. These are mini lights but the best description is micro-mini. Very bright for its small size. I love different colors. Each battery compartment has a tab that you must pull out to turn on the light. The on/off switch works fine. The wire is thin and delicate and must be handled carefully to unwind it or it will become tangled. However, this is a minor issue. I use them in faceted crystal candle holders. Very nice and easy to change light colors. The edges of the crystal really shimmer through the bright light. I also wrap wire around tall brass candle holders for added decoration. Happy with my purchase and recommend them. I will be buying more to complement the window and table decorations.
