This pump set works well for the price. Setup was easy and the ability to set up 3 pumps per controller is a very nice feature. The remote control setting makes it easy to press a button while feeding to reduce the flow of the pumps for an easier feeding session. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I feel the pumps are a little underpowered for what they promise. Also, I feel like one of my pumps has already weakened after a few short months of running. Initially I set it to 50% power to create roughness on the surface and I could see the roughness on the surface. Now there is practically no movement, even if I turn the flow rate to 100% I hardly notice anything. However, for a fairly affordable entry-level pump kit, I would still recommend this setup for smaller tanks. My 40 gallon tank is a bit larger so I bought a freshwater pump kit to circulate the water. I removed them and it returned to full flow. I'll probably just leave them now.
