my RV and runs through the power winding. Even though my RV draws 50A, it can still run on 30A if you don't use both AC units. My RV has a control box that allows you to adjust the wattage from 15 to 50 amps and automatically adjusts the load in the RV so as not to overload the circuit. This adapter turned out to be exactly what I needed, so I ordered it. . Here's what I found: 1. The design of this adapter is definitely better than my RV. This adapter has hand and finger grips that make it MUCH easier to put on and take off.2. Because it's a very short cable, it weighs nothing and is easy to store. A very clear plus. I use this at campgrounds that have not yet upgraded the power supply for 50A service (mainly state campgrounds and some private campgrounds). It works well, doesn't get hot, easy to store, easy to put on and take off. I am very happy with it and would recommend it if you have a similar need.
