Review on Ultimate Comfort and Style: Women's Slip-On Mesh Air Cushion Walking Shoes Sock Sneakers by Amber Harper

The heel is really too high and the toe doesn't lift.

I really wanted to love these shoes. Just received them today. The first thing I noticed was that the loop of the laces, where they are adjustable, was torn on both shoes, but that's okay, I just tied the two ends together. It doesn't look like they should have come here. I normally wear 8 wide shoes but after reading the reviews I felt the shoes were quite large and had enough room in the toes so I bought a seven and a half. I put on my shoes and walked around the house and yard in them for about an hour and a half. The heel in them is so high that my foot slipped towards the toe and here the balance was at the tip of the toe at the toenails. It gave my toes the same feeling as when your toenails are too long and that's why they hurt when you wear closed shoes. My nails are not long at all. The shoes were long enough because I could move the heel back and if it stayed there my toes would be fine but the heel height and lack of toe lift caused my foot to slide down. in the toe. I tried walking in heels to see if I could straighten my heel but it just didn't work. I should also explain that I usually walk in heels more and I couldn't walk in heels at all. All balance went straight to my tiptoes. My daughter who normally wears a size 9 tried them on and they fit her comfortably. My guess is that her legs were long enough for her heel to be where her heel should have been in those shoes instead of slipping down. So I just gave it to her. I was really looking forward to having a nice, comfortable pair of walking shoes. Also, it's been about 8 hours since I've worn them and my toes still hurt from that short time.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...
