I bought my 15 month old baby his first piggy bank because it's time to learn the importance of saving and being responsible with money! I received almost $10 in silver coins, quarters and nickels. I found putting batteries into the meter was easy and as I added coin by coin it correctly counted the funds I transferred to my son's bank fairly quickly. I only added silver coins as its transparency gives it a much more sophisticated look. I would recommend this piggy bank to any child. Add a few bucks and it will make a great gift for a birthday, Easter, Christmas or just because. Very satisfied and would buy again!
