the black is not very saturated black tone. it's grayer than i would like. I liked it. However, I order another color b/c: the quality is decent, it's cheap as I'm small - I like that. The scarf isn't too long (so if you're looking for a super long pashmina, it's not), er has no dangling tassels at the ends (I hate them).
