Or cut and connect. 11) Connect the wires to the back of the mirror. 12) Position the mirror on the windshield and tighten the torx set screw. 13) Start the car. There should be a green light in front of the mirror. 14) Check by covering the sensor on the back of the mirror. It should be dark. 15) Reinstall the sunglass/map light assembly.
