I wanted something that had a stylish look and plenty of secure pockets. For me, the purpose of a vest is to wear it when walking the dog, or at the airport with documents in your pocket, or on trips and hikes without a pocket for small items like keys, cell phone, camera, maps, money, glasses, etc. I can categorize all the vests I've tried into those that are functional but look like fishing, or look casual but the pockets are unreliable and not enough. This vest is the closest thing to what I wanted. I am very happy with it.
