I use this laptop stand to play games on my bed when I don't want to use my desktop. It fits in a laptop cooler and leaves about 4-5 inches of mouse space depending on how you place the cooler. It fits a 17" laptop without a cooler and still leaves room for a mouse, which is great if you don't want to use a laptop mouse pad. like legs for a stand. The legs snap into place, which is good. I fell asleep on this stand next to my feet and kicked it once but it didn't fall off so locking the foot works wonders. The deck is adjustable, as is the mouse pad, and you can also store cables or pens under the mouse pad if you need to take the stand everywhere. The fan and LED lamp are powered by a mini USB plug, or you can add batteries at the bottom to power the fans and light. Just remember to take them out as the fan won't turn off unless you unplug it. Big man and it's great that it fits both of my legs when lying on the bed instead of crossing them. The fan is ok, but I don't really use the fan and associated LED lighting since my laptop has a backlit keyboard and I have a laptop cooler.
