Not as strong as I need
Velcro is not very strong but very bright .Good for things that aren't heavy or don't need strong support (like clothes) but not what I need. I wanted to attach it to the lid and rim of a large fabric box so it would stay closed when stored. To keep the box closed I had to attach velcro to almost the entire box. I'm sure a stronger velcro would have done the trick. Maybe there are different types of velcro that I should look out for.
