So what's my fault? ! The fact that IOS ates slow down the Iphone, and sometimes turn it into a useless "brick" is not a secret - buy it, use it, throw it away, buy a new one. But the fact that the OS ate will disable the MacBook, I could not even think. Agreeing with Apple's proposal to ate the OS, I directly pressed the only button provided for this on the corresponding page of the official Apple Store. This could not in any way imply the occurrence of unforeseen costs in the amount of the cost of the SSD, as well as other inconveniences. Or does ating the operating system through the AppStore always involve the risk of data loss and damage to the computer? ! Did not know. And the download page doesn't say anything about it. I understand that my contribution to Apple funding through the acquisition of a dozen devices is ridiculously small on a global scale, but the attitude towards the client is discouraging. At the time of purchase, despite all the shortcomings (a weak video chip, a non-touch screen with a mediocre resolution and thick frames, a high price, the impossibility of copying information to an external drive without additional βdancesβ, and of course a peculiar operating system), in terms of battery life there were simply no competitors. Luckily, there are plenty to choose from. As a result, I made a conclusion for myself: when installing software from the AppStore, despite the fact that the Apple device is supported, it is likely that the result of this will be its failure and no natural and adequate actions aimed at restoring the damage caused by Apple are not will follow. Perhaps everything will go fine with the installation, but trying to ate MacOS to High Sierra on a MacBook Air is now a warning, and as it turns out, this is far from the only case. In general, the attitude towards Apple and its products has changed by an order of magnitude. For now, I'll use what I have. But I do not plan to purchase any new products from Apple. I do not impose my opinion on anyone, everything is as it was. Maybe it will be useful to someone.
