Review on Innocn 27-inch DisplayPort Computer Monitor: 1920X1080P, 165Hz, Flicker-Free, Anti-Glare Coating, Blue Light Filter - Mountable by Craig Conroy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Much better than expected!

Let's talk the elephant in the room... FHD (1080p) isn't enough for gaming these days, not even for a 27-inch screen, but it's a great way to keep your hardware prices down if you're not stuck at 2k are used to and even higher (and why not? huh?) I have this as an extra work screen and it doesn't have enough pixels to justify the space it takes up on my desk, so why 4*? Since this monitor is designed for gaming and clearly labeled, that's great for the price. The high refresh rate is easy on the eyes and comfortable with fast-moving subjects. The screen is bright and I didn't notice any noticeable glare. Blacks, The only real downside is that there is a lot of bright red light everywhere, even when the computer is off, making it really difficult to sleep in the same room! I use a dp connection from a docking station and it worked straight away and the screen always turns on faster than my main screen which uses Thunderbolt to HDMI so the connection and signal detection is top notch!
