Review on Vintage Canvas Satchel Messenger Bag For Men Women Laptop Accessories by Mike Davis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good everyday bag with some flaws

A 3 star rating seems too harsh for this bag because I really like it. It's stylish, lightweight and has plenty of pockets. However, its shortcomings are hard to miss. First, its pockets tend to be small and are usually flush with the body of the bag. They are fairly low capacitance and anything that isn't thin and flat creates a large and noticeable bulge. I can put my laptop and two laptops in it to carry to class, but I can't put my laptop charger in without the bag stretching. Since the Velcro points are on the two extra pockets, it's hard to know what they'll accept. Several smaller zippered pockets don't even fit a handful of pens, and the whole bag won't close. It doesn't have a shoulder pad, so if you're carrying heavy books or a laptop, it might start to fray around your neck. shoulder, especially if you walk a lot. The strap also tends to loosen as you walk, forcing you to tighten it frequently. Also, since the point where the belt attaches to the bag is only secured by a piece of fabric, the buckle will slip and end up awkwardly on the side no matter how you try to adjust it. Overall, however, this bag does what it advertises: a stylish shoulder bag. It is definitely not a backpack replacement, even if your backpack is chronically underfilled. But if you're just walking down the street with your laptop and notebook, this is a good choice.
