It is ideal for travel agencies. It cuts off any excess wires. Turns out I only need to connect a USB cable to run both screens on my basic HP laptop. The brightness is perfect for me. I have to use my laptop more than 8 hours a day. And I can spend several hours on a laptop battery when I need it. Hope that helps. Here is my 6 month recap. Okay I've had the screens for 8 months now and they're still working, the first 4 months I've had them I've used them every day, sometimes up to 16 hours a day but mostly 10-12 hours a day . It still works great and to be honest I'm not very gentle with it when transporting it. Now I just leave it in my backpack until I need it. Now I only use it maybe 5-10 times a month for about 8 hours. Still works great. The USB cable that came with this AI eventually broke and the metal part of the connector got stuck in the socket of the connector attached to the screen. I was able to remove it with pliers without damaging the socket. The USB cable that came with the kit fell apart afterwards. What I had to do was buy a similar one and use a razor blade to remove about 1/8 inch of the rubber to allow the USB plug to reach the USB port. The photo shows how much to cut. And now you know the story of my life. I hope this helped.
