I bought this to connect my computer (via USB audio out) to my 7.1 channel multi-channel receiver about 45 feet at the edge of the room behind the sofa and furniture. I added 3.5mm stereo RCA jacks to connect to the receiver's audio input. The sound is very clear with strong bass for rock music. It's very quiet during the pause as I don't hear any hissing or hissing. The cable is neither too thin to be a nuisance nor too thick to be noticeable. Excellent value for money and quality.
