I have Lazy Susan to use in cabinets and counters to organize items in my kitchen. It looked interesting, so I gave it a try. It is very convenient for use on the table as well as for baking. It's actually more attractive than a shopping list. The wood is very attractive and of good quality. I'm a carpenter and will proudly make it myself. The top is 3/4" thick solid wood with a fine grain. It rotates easily and smoothly (without hesitation). Even the base and base are made of the same high-quality wood. The surface is sanded smooth, making it easy to wear clean. The size is just right for a medium sized cake project or to hold a few small items on a countertop. It's the size of a small pizza. I use it on my kitchen table and it looks great. I highly recommend it.
