Plain Pain is Best in Tables

Whoever designed the frame under the table top and the angles to attach the legs should be fired. What a pain in every way. The little table was the worst as there just isn't a good way to easily get the hex key they supply there in the angles you need to be at. So putting two screws in each of the little legs was just unbearable. The larger legs have at least a little more room there, since the entry angle is different. But one of my legs already had a ripped hole, so I can't secure that leg well at all. In addition, the dirty styrofoam they use for protection during shipping, which is lying around all over the place when unpacked, didn't protect well enough and I have a few edges, which is a thin printed layer of a wood-like finish, peeling off on both. And the photo shows some space between the top of the small nested table and the bottom of the taller part? Not at all the reality. I can't slide the smaller one under the larger one without the metal underside of the upper ones scraping the top of the lower ones against the carpet, it's that close. On a hardwood floor I might have about 1/8 inch between them. Since the larger one has a leg that wobbles, I don't see any reason to worry about it ending up in the bin.
