I ended up taking off the silicone ball mount and using it with my existing telescoping Iottie car mount. The ball is a standard size, so it's perfect for another mount. The MagSafe silicone holder is perfect for the Apple MagSafe charger. There is double-sided tape inside the silicone shell to keep the charger from falling out due to the phone's weight and it seems to be doing a good job. Before I got this, I tried attaching the MagSafe charger to a magnet, but found that the phone stopped charging within a few seconds because it got in the way of the magnet behind the MagSafe charger. This is the best option as it does not affect the charging process as it is silicone. I've used it with an iPhone 12 pro max with Apple's clear MagSafe case, and my phone was never dropped from the MagSafe charger in the car during installation. . It probably wouldn't have stayed if I hadn't had a MagSafe case with extra magnets. I haven't tried the adhesive tape that came with it. All I needed was a silicone holder and a ball mount that attaches to it.
