Okay, but maybe Samsung is better for me?

I have the S Pen version of this case for Samsung and have provided photos for comparison. Overall both are good, Samsung might have an advantage. I'll try to explain. But first let it be said that those who described the Samsung version as a magnet for dust and dander are right. But it disappears after a few days of usage. It could be sebum rubbing against the case, which helps reduce the attraction of dust - at least I don't have a problem with that anymore. The photos show the front and back of the case with the S Pen attached. The two images are Spigen and the last two are Samsung. Here are a few key points: 1) Samsung comes with an S Pen, which can range from $25 to $40. So keep that in mind when pricing the Samsung version. Spigen comes without a stylus and is ONLY compatible with the S Pen that comes with the Samsung case. Note. I can't seem to find a compatible S Pen on the market. 2) Samsung feels velvety, silky smooth and matte. Spigen seems less flashy but still entertaining. 3) Due to the way I hold the phone and place it on my pinky, the charging hole at the bottom of the Samsung's case is a bit sharp and the front part of that lip seems to be flexible, it's soft (just above the charging connector because of the cut-out, otherwise everything is fine). The Spigen lip cutout on the front lip is beautiful and durable, and the pinky is comfortable. It's the same with mirrors. However, you don't see a stylus insert on the Samsung (my preference) compared to the Spigen, which has a finger cutout. Samsung has a slightly higher left edge as the left side of the case is a bit thicker. I like it a lot, looks like a grip area for my thumb. Spigen is the same thickness everywhere. 5) The Samsung's camera cutout protects the surrounding matte lens barrel and all the overhang. The Spigen cutout is designed for the full curvature. Less preferred. 6) Both have the same number of "rocks" when placed on a flat surface. 7) Samsung seems to have the advantage of better grip. I didn't intentionally try to do drop tests, but they are the same. I seem to have enough protection. In conclusion, I will definitely leave Samsung because I need a pen. I can keep the Spigen as a backup or maybe do some custom artwork or decals on the back case.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Nothing

Perfect fit and much better than the OEM case!
