Review on πŸ”¬ CO Z Ultrasonic Instrument for Laboratories and Scientific Commercial Applications by Jason Vigil

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well out of the box but LOUD.

So far I am very happy with this item. Received two days ago, cleaned right and left. This thing packs a lot of power, enough to clean brass for reloading. The manual is a complete joke, written by someone whose seventh language was English, but the user interface is completely intuitive. You really don't need instructions. Turn on the switch on the back. The display shows the default values. Set the temperature, press the heater start button. Wait a few hours for the temperature to rise. (Slow heating is actually good because it allows you to control the temperature more precisely.) Hang the object to be cleaned in the tank. In my case, these are mugs that contain brass in a cleaning solution. Set the sonication time. Press the start button for ultrasound. And then cover with towels and a blanket because that thing is REALLY LOUD. Annoying to the max. I ended up putting it in a closet, steaming it hard, and it worked. Another thing I don't like. I use ultrasonic cleaners at work. For maximum cleaning, NOTHING should touch the walls or floor, especially the floor where the ultrasonic devices are located. Ultrasonic devices MUST be able to vibrate freely. They eventually break when something is put on the ground. Because of this, you SUSPEND things in the tank's solution. This thing comes with a basket and I knew it. I expected it to have grommets hanging down the sides and hanging the basket in the mortar. IT IS NOT. Instead, the basket has rubber bumpers that sit on the bottom of the tank. It's a big no go. But it's something I can fix, so it's not a big problem. I'm going to make a gas cap with holes for the jar and I can use string to hang other items. 4 stars for a good start. -1 star for the cart below. +1 star for one year limited warranty. Hope this holds up, will post a note here if not.
