Review on Breathable 5 Finger Toe Socks: No Show Ankle Low Cut Compression Socks for Men and Women by Joe Duncan

I bought these socks with great expectations based on the reviews but they were a little disappointing. After several washes, the material becomes quite stiff and dense, making the socks difficult to put on and adjust. I wash all my athletic gear with mild detergents on gentle cycles at low temperatures, never tumble dry, and our water is pretty soft - other similar socks haven't ended up like this, so it has something to do with the fibers in the specific brand of socks. A few months after purchasing them I noticed that they were getting thin at the ends of each big toe. I've been working on a 10k workout program since I bought them, so they're not in high demand. I bought similar socks from another brand in August 2018 and have worn them for several half marathon training programs as well as the current 10k program. The much older socks show no signs of wear despite hours of training, so these socks are significantly less durable. Thickness is pretty good. I am just very disappointed that I only wore them for a few months before they became useless compared to over 2 years with another brand. I will not buy these again.
