Did not buy this set to machine embroider. My goal was micro crochet with it. All the colors are so vibrant! Also a very nice color combination! Keep the box to keep my project portfolio tidy. I love that they are colorless! That's a big plus! The additions were a nice touch as the threads for my micro projects are always wound on sewing machine spools. I like the thread nets. I found I could cut them into 4 equal pieces and that was enough to secure the threads. I have to buy a few more of these. In general very happy with my purchase. That's great value for money! I will definitely try them out later on my embroidery machine. For now they work as intended for my needs. On the pattern, the dark purple color is embroidery floss. My test with the addi .05 hook gave me the results I was hoping for. Red, Blue and Yellow are simple sewing thread tests.
