I had high hopes for this. I understand how to use screwdrivers, but as other reviewers have pointed out, they don't work. The size isn't true to size, and even if two people try to remove the pin (one holding one side and the other twisting the other), the tools won't work. This is disappointing. I lost the sliding piece that holds the extra strap length on my original strap so I'm just going to detach this piece from this new strap and attach it to my original strap. However, avoid this purchase and buy direct from Garmin. Just $5 more and you know you're getting the right tools.
