I don't understand why Mean Well in their infinite wisdom chose to use a vertical server fan with this power supply. The vertical fan layout on the back means you're short on real estate, which means they had to go with a 60mm fan. If you had placed it horizontally at the top, as with other devices, you could have used a 120mm fan instead. Simple Physics: Airflow is proportional to both propeller size and propeller speed. Sound, on the other hand, is (mostly) solely proportional to speed. A small fan has to spin faster than a larger fan to move the same amount of air, but it produces exponentially more noise. It's a damn loud fan. Nevertheless, it delivers the promised performance and doses cleanly enough with small bursts and aberrations (when viewed on an oscilloscope).
