We live in an area that is hot and humid most of the year. These types of shirts are ideal because they are cooler than shirts made from fabrics like cotton piqué. .- they don't sweat stain like cotton - they keep their color and don't fade - they don't wrinkle once dried (although they need to be folded and not left to cool) - they're more resistant to snagging than cotton. They usually last a lot longer than cotton because the material is harder to break. This shirt is well made and good enough to be considered business casual. The color is gorgeous (okay, it might not be exactly how my wife would describe it, but trust me, it's gorgeous). It is very practical and the price is surprisingly low.
