have been using Nissan thermos mug for 15 years. I don't see them anymore so I tried these. Why does a simple thermal mug have to be so confusing? Yes, I understand that it's airtight and holds temperature because it stays closed, but the entire design has a tiny recessed hole 0.3" from your mouth. I usually use my mug for homemade lattes and my standard portion only seems to be less than 3/4 full. The narrow girth requires an awkward angle for easy drinking. The moving parts in the lid sure break much quicker than the simple screw cap on my trusty old Nissan. The handle attached to the lid also limits the drinking options. As mentioned, I'm making espresso and often don't open the lid when I start drinking, but that's not an option now if you need another pen. Back to finding new old Nissan thermo mug.
