Makes the job fair

I needed extra USB ports for an HP laptop and a Lenovo Chromebook. ADVANTAGES: Small; portable; no external power supply required; it can be installed vertically or horizontally. CONS: It can disconnect your device if you move it a lot; I couldn't connect an external hard drive through this hub (maybe because it's not powered?). I feel like the pros outweigh the cons and for anything under $10 I think it's a good buy.
