It doesn't make my head itch and it smells great!I honestly don't know how well of a moisturizer or volume control shampoo it is. I have really short hair. I buy it specifically because it cleans my hair, has a nice 'tea tree' fragrance and my head doesn't itch after using it. It's a win-win for me!
