Finally a Smart Cover compatible case for the new Mini is available. Thank you ESR 👍🏻. And yes, it matches the mini perfectly and all the cutouts are accurate. Well done. Hard plastic and ultra light. The only minor complaint is that the edge of the case sits almost flush with the glass screen protector I have on the Mini, so there is little to no screen protector protruding. But since I installed a screen protector, I'm not too worried. I'm just glad I can finally use my smart cover. Also, just FYI, I have the Mini 4 and Mini 5 Smart Cases. They both work great in this case. However, the Mini 4's smart case is only slightly wider than the Mini 5's smart case. My guess is that the Mini 4 is wider to fit the Apple silicone case that was offered with the Mini 4, but the Mini 4 actually fits better into this case as that extra width makes it a little lighter. Grab the lid to open it. Attached are photos with the Smart Case Mini 4. Overall a great product.
