This is a rating after 6 months of use of this lamp. At first everything worked fine and the light was perfectly bright, but after half a year it started to flicker. I checked the bulb and it was ok, then I wiggled the cord a little and the light started flickering again, so I found that the connection between the cord and the bulb was no longer good. I don't know what happened, it was lying on my table and not moving, so I know for sure that no one was pulling or tugging on it. My only guess is that it failed too soon, which is disappointing because I loved this lamp. I won't be buying another one unless it lasts a long time, it's just not worth it. Also, I will recommend the seller to put an on/off button on the lamp. It's a little annoying to accidentally touch a metal part of the lamp and it will turn on. I also see this as a security issue. There's no other way to hold or touch the bulb without turning the light on, so make sure you unplug it if you need to move it or change the bulb.
