The sound quality of this wireless set is not bad. But reliability is another matter. After about 2 weeks the left channel audio started to contain quite a lot of noise. I changed my speakers and the problem moved to another speaker. While I have no way of verifying if the issue is with the sender or the receiver, I know for sure that the device is at fault. There is no hissing when I connect the speaker directly to my AV receiver. Unfortunately, since we really liked this device, it worked perfectly.
