I have a Dell Vostro 15.6 and got a 15.6" case, well it's almost 1 inch too long for a laptop. I agree, don't worry about crushing my laptop. I've only bought 2 of these cases (husband and I) in the last few weeks, they are very soft on the inside, plenty of room inside and two outside pockets, but it's too early to tell how long they will last, but that aside Size (my fault for not measuring it) I really like this cover.
