There are two official SONY service centers in Hong Kong that can fix your headphones if they break. One of them told me to get in touch with another SC since they have someone helping with hospital repairs who can't report to work for a while. I signal the second SC to retrieve it for testing. They reported 13 days later that the problem was considered to be out of warranty. So I buy something with a faulty cable, waste time going to the store and then two different service centers to return it and learn that it is a "non-warranty case." So, I mailed a letter to SONY asking them to send a new cable. It's been 35 days and still no reply. I checked in with them once a week to see how things were going with the evaluation. In most cases, after 35 days, people report feeling undecided about continuing to look into it (and whether they will be at all). I haven't listened to them in the two months since I got them. Whoever gets the staff will be very fortunate. A marriage is a waste of time and money because they won't provide a guarantee.
