I am very disappointed in this scale. It's very pretty and made by a reputable company, but it just doesn't work. I need a scale to track my weight before bariatric surgery. I'm obese, but I'm well under the weight limit for this scale, which is 400 pounds. I need very accurate readings because I have to regularly take pictures of myself on the scale to send to my nutritionist and if I gain weight I can't have surgery. Three times out of four this happens: I stand perfectly still on the scale while he goes through a bunch of numbers. But instead of coming to my weight and blinking like it should, it just turns off. He never reaches a certain weight and I can't photograph him. One in four times (roughly) will work. In these cases, it goes through some numbers and then displays the final weight. If I gain even a pound, I lose my eligibility for surgery, so this scale is too vague for me. And it's so awkward to pack for return that I won't bother. I think I'll have to buy other scales.
