I used 1 Kodak, 2 Panasonics 1 previous Sony and now this one. I loved my last Sony but it was stolen. This is a newer version and by far the best camera I have ever had. I have a 32 Extreme card which does this blazing fast and allows me to record over 180 minutes of the highest quality HD video. Here's what I liked: - Clarity, it takes fast, crisp photos because the lens is amazingly smart - Indoor shots in low light/no flash. I'm taking more indoor shots without flash and the colors are richer and more accurate - video! Video! Video! Although this is not a specific video camera, it is mine. It has a dedicated video button and allows you to capture HD camera images without pausing the video. Now you don't have to choose HOW to shoot. DO BOTH! - Clear video, True HD video with decent sound quality. Zoom is nice, slow and not as distracting as others I've had - Zoom! Increase! The 20x zoom is simply amazing for such a compact camera. Worked great in NFL game - Panorama, not so new but you can get great quality WIDE shot. Great for scenic views or even indoors. The size and simplicity of the menu. minuses. "Even with a more natural flash, I still get the typical blurry indoor shots. But for $15 you can buy one here at Revain. Right now I'm putting Sony cameras at the top of my list, followed by Canon. I won't be buying another Panasonic or Kodak any time soon.
