The day after installation it started raining, the headlight was covered with water droplets and the brake light stopped working. My return date was in January, now it's August, I've only just gotten to the installation. I had read reports of water getting into the headlight and truck so I applied gray caulk to both sides of the seal and around the rim of the headlight and where the wires enter the headlight. 10 minutes after I put my tools down, I realized I was turning them upside down. I adjusted the gasket and installed it correctly. One day I saw a stop sign. The next evening it started raining. That night I wanted to show my friends my cool new light and I thought they would lie to me and say the brake light didn't work. On the plus side, the charge light was very bright and the brake light was cool for the few seconds I saw it. Wiring was easy after I put the wires on the connector. The color of the smoke isn't as dark as I thought it would be, which is good. This is the right shade to look good. In general, I did everything I could to prevent the problems I was aware of, but it wasn't enough. I'll leave it alone for now, buy another brand and wear it the day I get it. Lesson learned. It's the cheapest I've found and it matches the taillights I wanted. If you get one, seal it.
